Board of Trustees

Oakbridge Special Education is a company limited by guarantee, established as a charitably exempt subsidiary company of Barnet Special Education Trust. Trustees are appointed by the BSET Board as the corporate member and include experienced education and healthcare professionals, as well as parents of children with learning differences. The Oakbridge Board is responsible for monitoring the educational and financial performance of the provision, for the appointment of staff and for compliance with statutory regulation.

Barnet Special Education Trust

A Multi-Academy Trust established in 2016 that runs the successful Oak Lodge School in East Finchley; a large special academy funded for up to 200 learners with a wide range of moderate to complex learning needs. The Trust has also recently opened The Windmill School, a special free school for autistic children and young people aged 5 to 19. This will grow to 90 places over the coming years.

The Trust Board is composed of a wide range of professionals from the education, charity and commercial sectors and is responsible for the appointment of directors to Oakbridge Special Education.
